She received her Bachelor in English Literature from University of Literature & Foreign languages. She was the President of “Khaneh”, House of Literature and Art for Young Adults, since 1989. She had been the president of the “Khaneh Cinema” (lit. ’Cinema House’), the Iranian alliance of motion guide (2000–2002).
