Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall arrive at the Great Pyramid of Giza after visit to Al Azhar Mosque in Cairo


A source close to Charles said: ‘The Prince is convinced that human ingenuity can help stop climate change because when you look at the pyramids you realise just what people can do.’As they stepped off their official government plane in the capital earlier today, the Prince and the Duchess were greeted by Gareth Bayley OBE, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Egypt, and his wife, Sara Fawcett.
