The 73 metre long Sphinx inspires millions of tourists every year. In pre-Covid times around 4,000 British tourists visited Egypt’s tourist destinations weekly.The couple’s visit to Egypt, which will continue tomorrow, will highlight close links with the UK and comes just weeks after the future King’s appearance at COP26 in Glasgow.
