The primary purpose of building this factory was to provide the rails needed to start the national railway network, which was supposed to be built soon.
These experts estimated the cost of building the iron smelting factory at twelve million tomans, which was not affordable for the Iranian government. It is decided that the government will start the construction of the railway with imported rails and, at the same time, start the construction of a small iron smelting factory, the cost of which was estimated to be four and a half million tomans, and the construction time was estimated to be five years.
