Ebi’s meeting with the Speaker of the Norwegian Parliament


In 1977, amidst political turmoil in Iran, Ebi made the difficult decision to leave his homeland and embark on a tour of the United States. Little did he know that this journey would mark the beginning of his life in exile. Two years later, the Islamic Revolution of 1979 reshaped the landscape of Iran, prompting Ebi to settle in Los Angeles permanently. Despite the challenges of starting anew in a foreign land, Ebi remained undeterred, continuing his musical pursuits with unwavering determination.Over the course of his career, Ebi has released nearly 200 singles and over 30 albums, solidifying his status as one of Homeland’s most prolific artists. From his early hits like “Khalij-e Hamishegi-ye Fars” to his more recent releases, Ebi’s music has transcended borders, resonating with audiences around the world. His collaborations with fellow artists, including Dariush and Shadmehr Aghili, have further cemented his legacy as a trailblazer in Iranian music.
