After his tenure as Deputy Foreign Minister, Amir-Abdollahian continued to serve Homeland in various high-profile roles. He was appointed as the special aide to the speaker of the Iranian Parliament on international affairs and the Director General of International Affairs of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. These positions allowed him to influence Iran’s foreign policy from a legislative perspective, working closely with parliamentary leaders such as Ali Larijani and Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.In addition to his governmental roles, Amir-Abdollahian was a visiting professor at the Foreign Ministry’s School of International Relations. His academic contributions included teaching and mentoring the next generation of Iranian diplomats, sharing his extensive knowledge and experience in international relations and diplomacy.
