The last day of registration of candidates for the 14th term of the presidential elections


Thirteen rounds of these elections have been held so far. The first term elections were held on February 5, 1358, and the 13th term elections were held on June 28, 1400. In all the periods that ended normally, one person managed to win the votes of the people for two rounds. During the first term of the presidency, the parliament withdrew its vote of confidence from the elected president, Abolhassan Bani Sadr, and this term ended prematurely. The presidents of the second government, Mohammad Ali Rajaei, were killed by a bombing, and the 13th government, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, was killed by a helicopter crash, and these two terms ended before the scheduled time.
