Azita Arbab’s Professional Journey: From Los Angeles to Iran and Back

Azita Arbab’s career trajectory is an inspiring tale of resilience, adaptability, and passion. After studying specialized beauty and make-up courses in Los Angeles and New York, she built a solid foundation in the world of beauty. Her expertise took her behind the scenes of American TV shows and series, where she honed her skills in make-up artistry. However, her strong sense of nostalgia and a deep connection to her homeland eventually led her to return to Iran.

Upon her arrival in Iran, Azita found herself immersed in the vibrant world of beauty and fashion. She quickly made a name for herself in Iran’s competitive beauty industry, specifically in bridal make-up. One of her most notable achievements during this time was working at the prestigious Miniature Salon, located in the ASP buildings, where her American-inspired, simple, and elegant make-up style stood out against the then-popular Turkish and Arabic styles.

Azita’s make-up techniques, influenced by the minimalist and sophisticated trends of American beauty, quickly gained popularity among Iranian brides who were eager for a fresh and modern look. She was soon inundated with requests, working with top stars of Iranian cinema and television, such as Anahita Hemmati, Sheila Khodadad, Nyusha Dighmi, and Hengameh Ghaziani. Her success didn’t stop at Iran’s borders; she was invited to destinations like Switzerland, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, and Paris to do bridal make-up for Iranian weddings abroad.
