Mehrnaz’s love for music became evident during her adolescence, setting the stage for a lifelong passion. At the age of 14, she began her formal training in tonbak under the guidance of Mr. Morteza Tayyibi and the esteemed Professor Arzhang Kamkar. Both mentors played a critical role in shaping her technical skills and nurturing her artistic sensibilities.
Within just three years of starting her training, Mehrnaz began teaching tonbak, demonstrating not only her exceptional talent but also her dedication to sharing her knowledge with others. She turned her father’s house into a learning hub for aspiring musicians, marking the early stages of her teaching career.
