Although professionally successful, Hayedeh faced increasing physical and emotional difficulties during the 1980s.
The pressures of continuous travel, demanding performances, homesickness, and health concerns affected her well-being. Friends later recalled that she often continued working despite experiencing significant fatigue.
Nevertheless, she remained dedicated to her audiences, rarely allowing personal difficulties to interfere with her performances.
Her commitment reflected both professionalism and genuine love for music.
Passing Away
On January 20, 1989, tragedy struck unexpectedly. Only one day after performing a concert in California, Hayedeh suffered a fatal heart attack.
She was just forty-seven years old.
News of her death shocked Iranian communities around the world. Thousands mourned the loss of an artist whose voice had become an essential part of their cultural identity.
Although her life ended prematurely, the recordings she left behind ensured that her artistic legacy would continue.
