Unique images from Hayedeh

Music scholars often describe Hayedeh as possessing an operatic alto voice. This classification reflects not only the depth of her vocal range but also her ability to sustain long musical phrases, project powerful notes, and convey profound emotional meaning. Her performances combined technical precision with heartfelt interpretation, allowing listeners to connect deeply with every song.

Many admirers compared her voice to that of Delkash, one of the greatest Iranian singers of an earlier generation. Hayedeh herself acknowledged Delkash as one of her most important inspirations, studying her recordings carefully while developing her own distinctive style.

Musical Education

Although naturally talented, Hayedeh understood that lasting artistic success required disciplined training. She therefore studied under several of Iran’s leading musicians and vocal instructors.

One of her most influential teachers was Ali Tajvidi, an accomplished composer, violinist, and vocal coach. When Tajvidi first heard Hayedeh sing, he immediately recognized the rare qualities of her voice. Rather than attempting to change her natural style, he focused on strengthening her technique while preserving the emotional character that made her performances unique.
