Despite her public success, Hayedeh experienced significant personal challenges throughout her life. Balancing family responsibilities with an increasingly demanding musical career was not always easy.
She was known among friends and colleagues as a warm, generous, and deeply emotional individual. Although audiences admired her confidence on stage, those who knew her personally often described her as humble and thoughtful.
Music remained the central focus of her life. She devoted countless hours to rehearsals, recordings, and live performances, constantly striving to improve her artistry.
Leaving Iran
The political changes of the late 1970s dramatically affected Hayedeh’s life and career. In September 1978, only months before the Iranian Revolution, she left Iran for the United Kingdom.
For Hayedeh, departure from her homeland represented one of the most painful experiences of her life. In later interviews she described leaving Iran as the bitterest memory she carried with her.
Although she hoped circumstances might eventually allow her return, events unfolded differently. Like many Iranian artists of her generation, she was forced to rebuild her professional life abroad.
