Following his departure from government in 1968, Sadat Tehrani devoted most of his attention to expanding the family’s industrial enterprises.
The Sadat Tehrani family had already established a strong presence in Iran’s textile and hosiery industries. Under Rokn al-Din’s management and strategic planning, these enterprises continued to grow throughout the following decade.
Among the family’s best-known companies were Pars Trico and Starlight.
These companies specialized in textile manufacturing, knitwear, hosiery, and related products. During the 1960s and 1970s, Iran’s domestic consumer market expanded rapidly alongside increasing industrial production, creating favorable conditions for manufacturers.
Sadat Tehrani emphasized modernization, improved production methods, and market expansion.
The family’s businesses became recognized for manufacturing quality products while serving both domestic consumers and export markets.
