The expansion of broadcasting created a growing need for professionally trained photographers capable of documenting television productions, cultural events, public figures, and institutional activities.

Adl was appointed head of the organization’s photography department, becoming the first director of photography at National Iranian Television.

His appointment represented an important stage in the professionalization of photography within Iranian broadcasting.

Drawing upon his training in France, he introduced advanced cameras, photographic materials, and laboratory technologies.

He also contributed to establishing modern photographic processing facilities, allowing the organization to produce images according to more demanding technical standards.

These developments improved the quality and efficiency of photographic production.

Before such institutional improvements, professional photography often depended on limited equipment and less standardized processing methods.

By introducing systematic laboratory procedures and contemporary technologies, Adl helped create a more reliable environment for photographic work.
