Hassan Ayat, the mysterious politician

Seyyed Hassan Ayat (July 3, 1317 – August 14, 1360) was a member of the Iranian People’s Labor Party, a member of the Central Council of the Islamic Republic Party, one of the representatives of Isfahan Province, a member of the Presiding Committee of the Assembly of Constitutional Experts, and a representative of Tehran in the first term of the Islamic Council. He played an important role in drafting the principles of the constitution and adding the principle of velayat faqih to it.  Ayat, who was said to be the architect of the downfall of Abul Hassan Bani Sadr (the first president of the Islamic Republic of Iran), was assassinated in the center of Capital by an unknown group. Yervand Abrahamian declares the People’s Mojahedin Organization responsible for his assassination. Seyyed Hasan Ayat was born on July 3, 1317, in Najafabad, Isfahan. He was brought up in a religious family, and after completing elementary and high school in Najafabad city, he completed his higher education in the departments of literature, social sciences, law, and sociology at the University of Higher Education (which later became Tarbiat Moalem University) and Tehran University. finished  While studying at the university, he also studied seminary courses and became fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
