The three hour ride will start at 2pm, with cyclists encouraged to assemble from 1pm in the car park of the Criterion Theatre, on Coventry’s Berkeley Road South (CV5 6EF). Organisers say that the protest aims to curb car culture, reduce oil dependency, promote green energy, support sustainable transport and celebrate body freedom, as well as campaigning to make roads safer for all users, cyclists in particular.
