The last day of registration of candidates for the 14th term of the presidential elections


That is, to win the first stage of the election, a candidate must win more than 50% of the votes of those who participate in the election. [3] In Article 25 of Iran’s Presidential Election Law, “blank votes,”  “unreadable votes,” and “votes obtained through buying and selling” are considered “invalid votes.” These votes are not added to the number of votes of any of the candidates, but they are added to the number of “participants in the elections.” [3] Buying and selling votes is considered a crime, and if proven, they will be removed from the total votes of the candidates. But according to Article 25, it will not be reduced from the total number of votes obtained.
