Accompanying the Queen on this occasion were Prime Minister Amir-Abbas Hoveyda and his wife, Dr. Manouchehr Eqbal, Mehdi Bushehri, and Lieutenant General Khademi. Together they toured the various departments and reviewed plans for future expansion.
Throughout the visit, Queen Farah paid close attention to details and offered numerous suggestions for improvement. While visiting the handicrafts and arts section, she emphasized the importance of displaying a broader range of Iranian artistic products. She expressed the view that all major forms of Iranian craftsmanship should be represented so that visitors could gain a comprehensive appreciation of the country’s cultural richness.
In another section devoted to Iranian food products and caviar, Her Majesty recommended expanding the selection to include dried fruits and additional specialty products from Iran. Such items, she believed, would provide visitors with a more complete experience of Iranian culture and traditions.
The Queen also inspected the cafeteria and hospitality facilities. Observing opportunities for enhancement, she suggested that greater emphasis be placed on Iranian design elements and decorative motifs. By incorporating more distinctly Iranian visual characteristics, the atmosphere of the center could become even more representative of the nation it was intended to showcase.
