Who is Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel?


Haddad Adel was nominated in the 1392 presidential election with the slogan of piety and prudence, and his qualification was confirmed by the Guardian Council. But four days before the presidential election, he withdrew from the candidacy in favor of the fundamentalists. In November 2018, Haddad Adel, along with nine other people close to Seyyed Ali Khamenei, were included in the US Treasury Department’s sanctions list. Early life and education Gholam Ali Mashhad Mohammad Ali Haddad was born on May 19, 1324, in Ray Street, Tehran. He later changed his last name to Haddad Adel.  His grandfather was hired to repair smoke cars between Tehran and Shahrari during the reign of Naser al-Din Shah and was known as Haddad.
