One of Jahanbani’s most enduring contributions was his role in establishing Golden Crown (Taj-e Talayi), first national aerobatic demonstration team. Founded in 1958, the team became an important symbol of the professionalism and capabilities of  military aviation. Jahanbani served as its leader during several periods and helped establish a culture of precision, discipline, and advanced flying skills among  pilots.

Jahanbani also held a number of important positions within the air force, including responsibilities in pilot training, air-force planning and organization, air training command, and senior command leadership. He was eventually appointed deputy commander of the Imperial  Air Force. His generation of  military leaders played a major role in transforming the air force into a technologically sophisticated organization equipped with advanced Western aircraft and supported by increasingly professional training systems.
